Privacy Policy

This policy describes what RentalPropertyAnalyze (“we,” “us”) collects when you visit rentalpropertyanalyze.com and how we use it. We collect the minimum needed to operate the product.

Information we collect

• Email address. When you join the waitlist or save an analysis link, we collect your email so we can send you the link and product updates. We do not require a name, phone number, social security number, or date of birth.
• Property addresses and assumptions you enter. Underwriting inputs you type — purchase price, financing assumptions, rent estimates, W-2 income, filing status, state — travel as URL state. They are not associated with your identity unless you explicitly save an analysis to your email.
• Product analytics. Pageviews, button clicks, and error reports collected via PostHog and Sentry to debug and improve the product. We configure these to avoid capturing the content of form fields.
• Server logs. Standard request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp, path) retained for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

• To deliver requested links and product updates by email.
• To operate, maintain, and secure the service.
• To analyze aggregate usage so we can improve the calculator and prioritize work.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Service providers

We rely on the following processors to operate the product:

• Vercel — hosting and edge delivery.
• Resend — transactional and waitlist email.
• RentCast — property and rent data lookups.
• PostHog — product analytics.
• Sentry — error reporting.
• Vercel KV / Postgres — saved analyses and authentication state.

Retention

Saved analyses are soft-deleted on request and hard-deleted within 30 days. Account-deletion requests are honored within 30 days. Server logs are retained for 90 days for security purposes.

Your rights

California (CCPA/CPRA) and EU/UK (GDPR) residents have the right to access, correct, port, or delete personal data we hold about them, and to opt out of any sale or sharing (we do not sell or share). To exercise any of these rights, email info@rentalpropertyanalyze.com.

Cookies

We use first-party cookies for session state and analytics. You can block cookies in your browser; some features (saved analyses, authentication) will not work without them.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify users by email.
